VFE's are a totally different beast to build. You'll enjoy it but also will likely utter a venerable rainbow of cursing when you start torching perfectly good caps to angle your iron in to get to the pots. I love my VFE's and I've built them all. You get hooked on the power boards once you stock up enough of the goofy parts. The soft switching is very classy.

Down to 7. And I populated all the empty ones last night.
I’m pushing to get a batch ready for etching cause I’m doing a custom enclosure design for @Gordo and I don’t want him to have to wait 6 months.
I kinda took a break since mid spring but I’ve got 8 or so in my cart at PPCB for winter projects.
