There are considerations to take into account, which pot you are modifying and which model expression pedal you’ve got.

If you want it to behave like the original, use the diagram above with this modification:

Replace R16 with a jumper wire on your PCB
Replace the wire going from the expression jack to lug 3 of the Treble pot with a 100K resistor
