Hydra Resistors?

Possibly a silly question, but he build docs for the Hydra specify 1/8 watt resistors and my local stores only stock 1/4 watt at the lowest.

Is this purely because there's less room for resistors on the pcb, or is there a practical reason why I should use 1/8 watt?

It's a size thing as far as I know, you can install the 1/4W you just have to bend them so they are kind of pointing upwards a bit on one end.

What's up with the smaller footprint for resistors on some of these boards? Ex. The photon vibe and the bass preamp Have smaller footprint than the Triangulum or the little green scream machine.

If you have the patience, place an order with Tayda. At $0.01 each, they are much cheaper than your local store, even with the shipping charge and they will fit properly. Digikey has 1% MF in 1/4W that will fit, they ship faster, but their resistors are $0.10 ea.
