Same here.Very generous of you! I have too much of a backlog of boards as it is. Let the next person have it.
I know how to tell if a package is going to get lost. Is FedEx involved? Same answer. Not here. I'm chomping at the bit for my summer project to come in the mail (kit build). Should be here today if ^&^% FedEx will update their tracking...

I've got a PJ bass and some finishing materials from Solo Music Gear. Probably not a lot of pedals for the rest of the summer, but that's ok. After work and house projects, this is the top of my list. Should take me a few weeks or a month to finish.Do tell
Can't wait to see how your Solo project goes. Which finishing stuff did you go with?I've got a PJ bass and some finishing materials from Solo Music Gear. For some reason I wanted this a stained purple color for the body and leave the maple neck/fretboard with just some truOil on it. This vision has been in my head for the past few weeks and told my wife if it doesn't go away I'm buying it. Skeptical about how it will turn out since it's a basswood body which has some pretty boring wood grain. If it all goes to crap, I'll get some Duplicolor rattle cans and go metallic purple on it. I'll probably change the pickguard, strings, and pickups at a minimum without even opening the box yet. So, I've got some neutral stain, some pigments (purple, black, and white), and some shielding paint coming apart from the kit. It was only a little over $200 so we'll see how this turns out. I'm debating whether to post the build journey in a new thread...Can't wait to see how your Solo project goes. Which finishing stuff did you go with?
I look forward to the build journey thread. I'm deciding on a Duplicolor metallic red of some sort to do my Tele. Brad Angove made it look pretty good, so I think I will do OK.For some reason I wanted this a stained purple color for the body and leave the maple neck/fretboard with just some truOil on it.
