Interesting use of magnets in guitar

I saw this posted in tdpri. I usually don't like these kind of videos, but this one was wild enough to keep my interest. I think this crowd will appreciate it.

The extra expression options (a tremolo kind of thing and the flutter vibration) are pretty cool. I wonder if the tuning issue could be solved, in theory you could build a version that is finger-safe (with some kind of mesh or similar that stops you from putting anything between the magnets), although if you really need such a strong magnet, I'm not sure how to easily fix the issue where the magnets get stuck together.

But a very cool video nevertheless!
