Hi everyone,
After seeing @Chuck D. Bones thread on relay switching - it has got me thinking. I am tempted to have a go at Dave’s but I would love to get the bottom of this issue.
I often use codas relay bypass circuitry on designs. It is plagued by certain builds having a loud pop when switching on or off. But is not a consistent thing.
Looking at Dave’s set up of the relay switcher (same as @Robert) in the first picture.
The PCB input is grounded in bypass with coda bypass being set up differently.
Could this be the source of the popping?
