Hello well I’m on to another build after bad luck with a Dba fuzz war pedal. The only Thing I can think of is that I must have damaged the board on that one.well anyways I am working on this Pcb mania JCM 800 and I’m having trouble with these trimmer parts I’m not sure of the pin out and it looks like it wants me to mount them upside down from what is the only way they will fit without bending the pins. There’s a 1 and 3 on the pot but doesn’t match up to the board.

Oh you are correct sir I had this same issue with the Dba fuzz war pedal … I have a extra set of 3362 20k trim pots could I use them or should I hold up and order the correct trim pots… will it make a huge difference?

I ordered the wrong one here and it works fine.

Physical size of the trimmer won't make any difference when it comes to setting correct drain voltage. But trimmer value it's the other story...
For q1 you need probably 50k, for q2 - 100k. BOM calls for 100k for all trimmers.

Nice will I just order the pedalpcb!! Dba fuzz war and can’t wait to put it together!!! I’m having trouble with the PCB Mania one.:(
I took out c8 and c9 and don’t know what to put in there because I had one 100n in one and 47n in the other… I have a 3362 10k for this but I seen a picture where someone had a different trimmer… the pedal didn’t sound fuzzzy at all it sounded like a weak population bad connection overdrive… and I thought it was a bad b100k pot because the fuzz pot cuts out and is so scratchy… I’m stumped I think I damaged my board because I have a bad solder sucker and I always end up burning the boards when trying to remove parts so I always take my time installing parts but to remove them I take a pair of forceps usually and squeeze the part and let gravity do its thing but I always end up screwing up. I’m so upset because this board isn’t difficult but something stumped me … I have a pedal pcb one on the way… and another from mania

Yeah I Remember that just after I posted that message that the trimmers were 100k. It gets confusing when I’m thinking about two different circuits at the same time.

I put the right trimmers in now and set the bias but trim4 and trim5 only trim 9-10v and of course the pedal sounds like static. I will get back to this pedal later I’m having trouble with a simple pedal

Ok I’m back on to this Jcm 800 nightmare I set all transistors voltages at the gate to the recommended specs accept Q5 it’s supposed to be at 5.6volts but the trimmer on goes from9.5v to10.97v … the pedal plays fine while playing but at idle and not playing it has a ton of static it’s abnormal for this pedal I would think … happens and all volumes and gain levels…
