That signal sure gets beat to death before being spit out the other end.

Sorry but I'm Anal when it comes to Drive pedals, I mean Analog!

The signal is still analog, there is no point at which the signal is converted to digital. It doesn't get beaten any more than a typical Rat. Using those switching ICs is no less analog than relays, they're just a lot smaller, cheaper, and easier to install in mass-produced boards.

I wonder if the JHS mode swaps out the opamp? Wasn't his whole hustle charging people a bunch of money to put a NE5534 in their Rat2s?
