Keely Halo Dual Delay (Andy Timmons Signature)

This is pretty cool. I’m a big AT fan. In all his rig rundown videos he mentions using a timeline in dual delay mode (1/4 + dotted 1/8) at 375 ms and 500 ms with some modulation in order to get the same sound he would get running two DMMs through his stereo signal path. I can get this sound on my Specular Tempus. I can see why he’d make a signature pedal it’s a very AT delay sound.

Editing to say wow after reading the webpage it’s a pretty full featured dual delay. Based on the Eccos platform this is gonna be a tough task for PPCB I think but still very cool. I would buy this over the Eccos all day and I just sold my Eccos because the layout and secondary controls are tough to use

Yah, I bought my Timeline to get that 375/500ms dual delay sound. I sold my Timeline because the knobs and functions made my head hurt......:).

This pedal looks like it's definitely in the realm of "too many buttons and options".

Funny thing is, I can get that dual delay sound with my Hydra Delay with heads 3 + 4 on. Not exactly but it's pretty close.

Also it’s HUGE. Haha

Yeah the Eccos format packs a ton of functionality especially with this new offering and the Hydra Reverb from keeley but I really wish it was slightly wider

You might like the Strymon DIG

I did look at the DIG pretty closely at one point but bought the El Capistan instead. But NOW.....I've sworn off all commercial pedals :):) if it ain't DIY then it won't fly......(that kinda rhymes....I should incorporate some rap into my demo's.....:)

Do you still have the El-Cap?

This would be a job for the Daisy.

I have a cascaded dual delay algorithm for the FV-1 but it has less delay time and none of the other advanced features.
What do you think the Halo uses? I assumed FV1 because I thought Robert used that a lot.

Impulse buy: just found one on eBay from proaudiostar for $254. Offered $240 and got it free shipping too. I recently bought a keeley hydra and I’m loving that so hopefully this will be good too. The format is hit or miss with most people and I hated it on the Eccos but it’s fine for the hydra and the halo looks to have a much easier to use preset system.
