This was another very straight forward build. I did however learn a couple things in the process.
1. Don’t assume you have a resistor when going through the parts list and ordering what you need. Check
2. If I was to do this build again I would either wire the 3pdt without the board (pretty sure there’s a wiring diagram on the forum somewhere) or use a ribbon cable. I spent way too long on this part.
On the first part as you can see from my gut shot I had to do a couple series resistors. Not a huge deal I just don’t like doing it.
The boxing portion of this build was great for the wiring. With everything having a spot at the top of the board wiring was a breeze and very clean. I used the better setter knob tool…. I’d give this maybe 3/5 probably 2/5, I likely won’t use it again. I can do about as good of a job without it I feel like and it just made the process take longer.
On the enclosure art. I was rattle canning enclosures last night and my son (he’s in kindergarten) asked if he could paint one. So I did this one flat white and he painted it. He just did the top I wish I would’ve had him do the sides as well. But I like it, will for sure stand out on my board compared to the others. With the simple controls for this pedal I didn’t think labels were needed.
Overall happy with this build.
