SOLVED Lab rat no signal

I’m getting bypass signal but no sound engaged. It sounds like the knobs are doing their thing. I modded the clipping switch for opamp clipping with an on/off/on switch if I remember correctly. But not getting any signal. Anybody see anything wrong with my wiring? Scared to go poking around without a plan of action. Thanks in advance

The tab on the metal can LM308 marks pin 8. It needs to be rotated 90° CCW.

It looks to be an Alfa chip, which does have the tab denoting Pin 1

My bad it’s an alfa as301. I forgot about that. I built this when it came out but i'm just getting to troubleshooting.

I was looking at the op amp too.

shouldn’t pin 1 be at the upper right on that board?

wango tango. ok so I plugged in a normal LM308N and its good to go. so I think I had the as301 backwards right? fuck i dont know

Yep. You needed to orient it so the tab was in the top-right.
