First off happy Labor Day everyone! Hope everyone is having a great time I know I am I have a new pedal.
Onto the build, so the build itself was really straightforward nothing that will give you any difficulty. The only hiccup I had was I was missing a 33r but @K Pedals remedied that by sending me a few BIG thank you to him! Although I will say even though it didn’t give me a problem some of the el caps were so tight that I had to “seat” them on top of some other components. I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing just a super tight fit! The delay itself is awesome you can get pretty wild with the delay and repeat cranked! I honestly haven’t played with it much I will be though!
Onto the decal, so this was actually my 2nd time using decals I’ve been wanting more of a professional look lately. The design itself is supposed to be a boardwalk illusion of some sort. My girlfriend was the one who drew it! She’s been wanting to draw something on one of my pedals since I started. After looking at a sketch of this one I immediately loved it. So we scanned it put it in the computer and reversed the black and white filter. This is the result. I quite like it although the printer could be clearer and be better resolution. I could’ve been more careful applying it it’s a little crooked! I will do better next time!
Oh and one more thing I measured the holes for the enclosure completely wrong really wasn’t paying attention so I had to do some serious pot bending to get it to all fit but it worked out.
All in all this was a 5 out of 5 for me once again. The build was easy and would recommend to anyone who wants a delay in their arsenal.
