I've been working on this one for a few days, finally finished it tonight. Sounds good. Nice overdrive with a midrange peak. It's a classic for a reason.

I'm very happy with how this one looks, too. The LED is pink, hard to photograph but it suits the colour scheme well.

I used a 56pF cap instead of the 51pF, because 51pFs are hard to find in an accessible and affordable format.

I used pair of orange 5mm LEDs at 1.8v forward voltage. I have some 4148s to try too, but I wanted to try the LEDs first. I used a 6 hole socket in that area and just jammed the resistor in there between the diodes. Looks a bit crap, but whatever. I'll trim the LED legs if I keep them, which I think I will because it sounds very nice as is.

I'm not doing a demo of this one because we all know what a TS808 sounds like.

Here's a follow-up gutshot, having trimmed the legs of those LEDs.

I just spent a few minutes amusing myself by watching them light up depending on how hard I hit the strings. Which was actually a pretty helpful way of seeing how they affect the sound.
