LND250K1

I'm building the Equilux Mini and it calls for a component that is next to impossible to find, unless you sub in a LND250K1. Robert says that the SOT23 adapter boards here don't work with the LND250K1. Can I use a SOT23-3 board, or is that the same issue? Can I also solder the SMD to an adapter board and run wires to the appropriate pads?

I used a normal adapter board, but rather than using header pins I used short wires, and crossed two of them.

Great great pedal! I really like the quality of the gain stage in this. (Not to mention the finesse with EQ).

Awesome! That photo is 100% the perfect addition to you response! Thank you for clarifying, can't wait to get this built and set up with my rig. I built GuitarPCB's Sonic Tonic and running that through the Chop Shop gives me such an awesome tone. Looking forward to going deeper with the Equilux!

If you're going to solder the LND250K1 to an adapter board you might as well just go ahead and solder it directly to the Equilux PCB.

Haha! For some reason I read the description of the LND250K1 on your site where it says that it doesn't match up with your SOT23 adapter boards and I equated that with the Equilux. Silly me. Thank you Robert for knocking some sense into this thick skull. Can't wait to build it this weekend!
