Looking for Flux Pen Recommendations

Like it or not, SMD is becoming an integral part of my build regimen.
Though most of my SMD-related projects are PedalPCB, via the FV-1 pre-solder option, unfortunately BuGG can't solder all my SMD projects.

Long time ago ordered a 1590A PCB for FV-1 Reverb, but vendor was out of chips.
I've got the chip from PedalPCB, burst my SMD cherry on the Low Tide's JFETs, and am finally ready to tackle that 1590A reverb and all the other SMD projects without pre-soldered SMD I've accumulated such as the VHS.

None of the local shops carry flux pens, so I bought a small tub of flux, but still think I'll prefer the pen — so I'll have to order online, hit me with your favourite, or which ones to avoid; or do I even need one?

I have a MG Chemicals one that I use on a SMD project (not sure which part# as I'm out of town for the week). Works well, and always good to have around for stubborn desoldering cases.

SRA and Thermaltronics make my favorite tub of flux and tip tinner respectively, I haven't used a flux pen made by either of them but those are the brands I'd look for first, and I know SRA makes one. I prefer SRA's flux to Thermaltronics but it's not bad. I've also heard good things about chipquik's flux pens.

I have toyed with the idea of looking into a flux pen…but 15 years ago I bought a tub of it at Radio Shack, and I still have about half left. I use a toothpick to apply…
