No.... it is not a mistake, C9 should not be 470pF. (Because I will forget, and I will question myself later)

@Robert -

I see the new Article 59 OD webpage shows the MC33178 under 'you may also like'.
As the build doc is TBD, let me ask:

1. Does the Article 59 use the MC33178? If yes, how many?
2. Also, is one of the 3 ICs a charge pump?

Looking forward to seeing the schematic and comparing their designs for the 800,900, SLP....

A part of me is disappointed by the plexi schem (one single clipping stage, and with 1N914, really?).
A part of me yaps about the importance of voicing over clipping devices, and somerhingsomething learning how to use inverting stages in such an elegant and simple fashion.
But then a part of me is just pressuring me to quit this obsessive hobby and focus on the things in life that REALLY matter, like hiking, steak tartare, haitian rum, wild geese taxonomy and the extensive, yet-to-be-discovered extinctionist poetry works of Pentti Linkola. What to do, what to do...

Almost there... 59 board is ready.

Just reviewed the schematic. One difference between the 1959 SLP and the other Marshall pedals is a VREF clamp diode (D101). This is the first time I think I have ever seen this done. Also not in the other pedals. I wonder why they felt it was needed....

Also seems a waste of the second half of IC1 - could be used as a VREF buffer?
