Meathead Deluxe

Hey all,

Latest build is a Meathead Deluxe on FuzzDog board. This build went somewhat less than smoothly but I got there in the end with help from Lee @ FuzzDog thankfully!

I’d actually built this years ago and was trawling through my fuzzes to find one to work with my new amp, this was a clear winner! Thought I’d re-box it to give it a new lease of life!

Enclosure is a Tayda UV job, each time I use them I try and make the design a little more complex, they haven’t disappointed me yet!

Wow - that is some artwork there. I can see why you needed a 1590BB - not for the electronics but for the graphics!

Haha thanks! Yeah I kind of wanted to go all out on the design, pedal board space be damned! ;) I'm also testing out the UV printing service every time by making each new design a bit complex than the last and seeing if it comes out ok in the printing process, haven't hit the limit yet!

Incredible, beayootyfull Fred, beyoooteeful!

I went through a phase of wanting all my builds to be as compact as possible, and seeing such a small board in such a big enclosure would have made me scream internally "WHY!?!". I outgrew that and I've got several bigger builds coming down the pike — and I have even thought of having an all stupid-big pedals pedal-board.

It's like Vinyl-LP art vs CD covers — LP wins every time! Whatever fits a CD case will still look great on an LP cover, but the reverse isn't always true.
