Muzzle chain order question

I'm assuming that I should have it at the end of the chain in the FX Loop.

AMP-->REVERB-->DELAY-->MUZZLE-->AMP

Find where the noise is and put it after that. Most likely your distortion/OD/fuzz pedals. If you put it after your reverb and delay it will gate them. If you aren’t Phil Collins I don’t recommend gating your reverb.

@Nostradoomus 's comment about gates reverb/Phil Collins comment just sent me on a wild internet goose chase. This is exactly why I really like lurking around this forum, even when I don't have a specific pedal project. Never knew that distinctive 80s drum effect had a name. Here's a cool vid that explains it well from Vox.com, for other folks who are chasing that sound or are interested in the history. Reminds me of the "flanger" effect history.

Makes a lot of sense when thinking of @JetFixxxer 's pedal chain, too, for how that effect develop.
