I would like to see this schematic or see it as a project. I’m curious what’s under the hood, and feel like I need to build one.

Thank you, I saw it over there, I don’t think some of the values are right, according to what I was reading.

Yeah, that seems to be fairly common. The "Maybe 2SC732" does make you a bit suspicious.

They’re not necessarily hard to find. I want sure what the story was with them. Is it worth building and should I have one for my collection. It is difficult find one relatively cheap with the box. Yep, I’ve turned into that guy.

I've wondered about this one for a while, but I haven't gotten around to picking one up. Even then I'm not sure how to measure smd parts. I tried using my multimeter on some smd resistors and could never get a reading so I assumed the connections were covered somehow. That or I wasn't using the right range on the DMM.

Sometimes you have to dig in a little with the probes to get a good measurement, but it's best to measure them out of circuit.

You can usually read the values printed on the resistors but the caps have to be removed for a reliable measurement.
