Hello here! Let´s see if you can help me with this

I did an order 20 Feb., the package was accepted in USPS Albany 24 Feb. and arrived to Jacksonville same day.
After that Since 26 Feb. to today 9 April 6-7 weeks the package is is looping indianapolis-kokomo-greensboro...etc but not any movement to come to Spain.
I wrote Pedal PCB a couple of times but nothing...NO ANSWER
It was First-Class Package International Service delivery... no idea what happened, but I´m not getting help either.
Is crazy times at this point for a shipment
DHL from Tailand to Spain 3 days from TAYDA can´t understand how Pedal PCB continue working with this USPS...
What I should do? SOME HELP PLEASE
Pedal PCB will care about the package? if it is lost will send me another package? no idea about nothing yet
Thanks in advance for your thoughts

So I'll start by saying that Robert (PedalPCB) does not control the postal service, and once it's dropped off he has no way of affecting the speed of delivery. I will also say that USPS first class international is always slow, but it is also cheap, so comparing it to DHL shipping is not a fair comparison.

That being said the tracking shows something weird going on, the package is consistently moving, but it's just going back and forth between the same couple facilities. USPS will be no help as they specifically say they will not respond to requests regarding first class international shipments, and they will likely just tell you to wait.

Robert is a good guy (though often busy) and I'm sure he will help you get it taken care of one way or another.

Hey Vigilante! I´m not talking about the postal service speed and less about If Robert controls it, of course not, just that as you said it looks like it´s in a looop that looks don´t go anyplace for long time.

I don´t get in doubt Robert is a good guy and this is why I´m looking for a solution here in a very friendly way, which don´t get me out to be a bit upset.

Totally right about DHL price from TAYDA but at this point I would pay it 😅 just to not wait 2 months but just saying as an improvement or so...

Well let´s see what could be done because I would love to finish my pedals! 🤘

thanks for the comment!

I've had shipments get weird in the past. It happens. I would just place a second order for some different boards, and then whenever your first one shows up treat it like a surprise.

If you've called the USPS with your tracking number and spoken with someone on the matter, then you've already done everything you can do at this point.

One time I had a shipment shown as delivered, but not to my house. I called up and they gave me the address of my neighbor's house, which is vacant. I poked around over there and my package wasn't there either, but it showed up on my doorstep a few days later.

Another time I saw a DHL Tayda shipment went from thailand to china, then alaska, somewhere in the midwest, then back to alaska and china, before making its way back into the US and to my door. What a weird thing.

Think about it like this: you're gaming the system since you're not paying for any of the extra shipping ;)

But seriously, I would just place another order using a different shipping method and treat the first one as a surprise when it does show up

Were The Beach Boys really singing about Kokomo, Indiana?!

Honestly, I would blame them for the delay.

Aruba?
Jamaica?
Bermuda?
Bahamas?
Key Largo?
Montego?
Kokomo… Indiana??

That’s just misleading, Mike Love. Terrible directions.

That said, they did give a warning:

"We'll get there fast, and then we'll take it slow
That's where we wanna go
Way down in Kokomo"

I apologize for missing your email, I've just replied there to get this handled for you. :)

I suspect your order is being returned by USPS, they've been doing this randomly with no explanation. There are no markings on the packages, nothing in tracking to indicate that they ever made it to customs, and no one at USPS (all the way up to post master) can explain why they get returned.

Unfortunately the rates DHL offers for international shipments departing from the USA aren't comparable to the rates they offer to other countries.

I really wish it was an option, USPS First-Class International is absolutely horrible, but it's generally just not reasonable for a small shipment of PCBs.

For example (this is not including any tariffs or the pickup fee):

No worries at all Robert! Thanks you for the support and make it all so easy, I´ll do what you said in the email

Wow what a crazy prices there! Tayda was half, well we will continue getting in the risk area! 😅🤘

Thanks again! and have a great weekend!

BTW @Robert if I have redo the order which is the more confidable/trustworthy shipping method? Having in mind might be no one of them but... the less usually failing
Thanks in avance!

UPS or USPS Priority Mail International are much faster, but more expensive as well. UPS also charges additional fees on top of the import duties in some countries.

6 - 8 weeks is not out of the ordinary for USPS First-Class International shipments, but in this case it's circling around the USA and never actually making it to an international distribution center.
