Nope...not what you were thinking (but a cool idea nonetheless)...
I mean the new forum section @PedalPCB has graciously agreed to create dedicated to Breadboarding. Before you start rattling off names, dig this;
Once a week, I am hoping to start a new "breadboard build-along" featuring a PedalPCB circuit. We'll take each circuit stage by stage to from schematic to completion. It will be "open lab" style, so there's always time for questions and discussion between participants. I think it will be a great opportunity to learn as a group. Once the breadboards are all working, we can simply transfer the components to the PedalPCB board for this finished piece.
Here's where I take off my hat and ask the magnificent braintrust to participate as well. It would be really helpful to have at least a brief circuit analysis to reference for each session, and of course you are all welcomed to participate and guide us through the sessions. What would be most excellent is for the tutors to choose the circuit they wish to host, and we can pick one from the bunch (hopefully a bunch). I think it would be best to start with something simple, much like the kit project, and progress into more complex circuitry.
Your mission: Name the Breadboard section. We'll do it just like @jjjimi84 did his, with the circles and arrows, and a paragraph on the back of each one, explaining what each one was, to be used as evidence against us in a court of law.
Sorry, I just Guthried all over you.
All entries must be made by 11:59ET Thursday, Aug. 12th. Voting will take place Friday, August 13th (ooooooohhhh).
Oh, and feel free to tell me what your thoughts are on the idea, I'd love to hear them!
Alright, my idea was Breadboarding is NOT a crime....so the bar is pretty low.
Grand Prize? Yes!
Other prizes? You betcha!
What are they? Play the contest and find out! Why? Because I said so!
