Sound Semiconductor is about to release their new SSI2100 512-Stage BBD chip. Just saw an ad for them on FB and can't seem to find it again now. But their site has some info, datasheet and pkg specs.
I was excited when I saw there was a modern BBD design, but I'm less excited when I see it's a 5V BBD. I don't consider myself to have overly discerning ears, but I can hear the difference between the 9V MN3205 and the 15V MN3005, I can't imagine being impressed by the SSI2100. I may try one out when they're released to the general public, but I'm not over the moon about it.
