I’ve looked at consumer-ish grade lasers over the years. Hoping one day they’ll be an affordable one that can replace my chemical etching process.
I use this stuff:
https://www.instructables.com/Stop-using-Ferric-Chloride-etchant!--A-better-etc/ in conjunction with laser printer/magazine paper iron-on transfers. It works pretty well usually, but is a bit labor intensive and tedious.
Seems like the lasers might not quite be there yet (vs. chemical etching) when it comes to cutting depth…
Anyone tried both and gotten comparable results?
