I've been dreaming up an acoustic 12 string bass vi for a while now. An acoustic bass that can be heard at a camp fire jam.Wake me up when there's a VI XII Tele
I've been wanting an acoustic VI for ages, but don't wanna risk completely wrecking a decent four string bass with my conversion shenanigansI've been dreaming up an acoustic 12 string bass vi for a while now. An acoustic bass that can be heard at a camp fire jam.
The Rascals look rad, but that but width is no good for me (38mm)That Sherwood Green Rascal bass is calling my name
Oooh! Lately I’ve been itching to build a warmoth 7/8 Strat with dual p90s for a bit of a Townshend SG special Live at Leeds vibeI particularly like the dual P90 Strat. Short scale, okoume body.
Short scale but huge, looks neck diveyThat Sherwood Green Rascal bass is calling my name
Narrow nuts and flat radii is no way to go though life in the low end.The Rascals look rad, but that but width is no good for me (38mm)
I honestly really dig narrow nut widths on bass. 38 is pretty narrow for sure if you’re not used to it, but I much prefer jazz necks to P necks (if any of y’all know where to find an unlined fretless jazz neck with a 7.25” radius, hit me up), and the 37mm nut on my EB-3 is rather comfortable— makes it feel more like an upright or a cello neck. The Rascals look rad, but that but width is no good for me (38mm)
I play baritones/ bass VIs exclusively, and anything under 42mm is much too cramped for meNarrow nuts and flat radii is no way to go though life in the low end.
I was brokenhearted when I found out that my MIJ P bass, advertised as 42mm, is actually 41mm. I want my mm back!I play baritones/ bass VIs exclusively, and anything under 42mm is much too cramped for me
