New transformer to inductor board question

Just wanted to get this straight!
Can I use the new utility board to build a conqueror fuzz without the fasel?

It replace the 500mh indicator ? If so does it sound the same ? Can you only use a 42TM013? ... I don't know the first thing about transformers... (At least the not Hasbro kind ... Those I am pro at ! xD) and inductors.. :/

Yes. Yes. Other audio transformers will work if their primary inductance is around 500mH and their winding resistance is <100 Ohms.

Here's your first lesson on transformers: A transformer (the not Hasbro kind) is just an inductor with more than one winding.

Nothing magic about Fasel's except the price.

Thanks Chuck! I will have to check the data sheets of the transformers I got on hand. The price of the fasel ones plus the shipping was what was stopping me beforehand
