Nice PCB design tutorials from Phil's Lab

Nice, I'll have to give this a watch soon... I'd really like to make the transition to KiCad sometime soon.

For me it was a couple of weeks of frustration and struggle in the beginning, after that more fun than anything else.

Very cool. I am sure it’s a lot easier than learning the hodgepodge way i did, lol. It’s a great program. I may watch them just to see if i can learn something i haven't figured out already. The kicad documentation reads like an 80s stereo manual. Thanks for posting this. Also if you are going to watch this I can’t stress enough how much easier it is to use the sheepylove Kicad footprints that are available to download. I love them.

I wish I had gotten into these videos before starting out.. thanks @temol !

@Robert I think you could get a pretty good workflow going with KiCad. Apart from the good stuff like value/ref on both sides and part templates (with board cuts), there's also a lot of automation available which could auto-create build docs. Hell, if you built your part library with LCSC part numbers then BOMs could be used to order parts direct from LCSC or to do assembly at JLC (If you wanted to cut out the soldering side of verification)..
