So we have a thread dedicated to sharing music we're interested in. This thread is a public service to notify one another what songs to avoid! Yes, you must post youtube links to them because how else will we know they can send you into a fugue state unless we listen to them?

Since it's December, these two songs made it to the top of my list.

Anything Christmas. Especially if it's by Boney M.

There was a video by Rick Beato recently where he went through the "Top Ten One Hit Wonders of the '70s" or something like that. I was so disappointed to see him list Afternoon Delight - that song is just horrible. As is Chanson d'Amours by Manhattan Transfer.

But the song which made me instantly switch my radio off 30 years ago was Push The Little Daisies by Ween. I believe that Ween have recorded songs which can be listened to without instant nausea but this ain't one of 'em. I'm not going to test that theory.
 
I can’t remember what song it was specifically but it was by American head charge and one of their least popular songs. Spotify put it on like 4 times in an hour and I was so confused why it was there and I had to block the artist to make it stop serving me that one specific song constantly. No big loss to me as I couldn’t name any of their songs, but just a weird occurrence making me realize I hated a song.
 
Anything by Celine Dion, Adele and similar. The way they oversing every word is particularly irritating. And anything in the mumble rap/trap camp is the worst I've ever heard in my life.

But since we have to pick one specific song so I'll go with this one. I know it's interesting in terms of composition but I hate the repeating fiddle part and the guy's voice. Also the band's name gets on my nerves for some reason

 
Everything Kanye touches. He's on my mind for obvious reasons but as a life long hop hop fan, I never enjoyed any of the projects he came up producing nor his solo work. I've always considered him increasingly overrated. He is a disgusting antisemite, yes. It's also important to note that he was never a genius. Just an attention vacuum. Fuck Ye and his discography. I'll go spit on the ground now.
