American Graffiti…his freezer went, and Richard Dreyfus didn’t want one…Who's old enough to remember the Wolfman?

I remember Wolfman Jack
I saw those guys at a tiny bar in early 2001 was a very good show. I really like that first album and Howl, but haven't heard any of the stuff they have done lately. At work doing some of my boss's work because she decided to take the next couple weeks off and get covid. So I got this on one playing on one screen while the other screen is doing shit above my pay grade.
I was playing that [rather poorly] earlier. Then I slid into the intro of John Fogerty's "The Old Man Down The Road" for some odd reason. It was a blur after that until I came to, fingers sore, ears ringing....you know, a playing hangover.Woke up with this in my head today
Let me check my notes....left...then two rights.I am falling in to a The The rabbit hole...
Check out Purple Dawn and their song The Moon Song. They're frickin awesome. Stoner rock, dooly sorta stuff but... You'll see.
Over the last year or so my musical tastes have definitely slowed down and firmly embedded into the doom/stoner/sludge area of things, but damn.. I usually don't pay much attention to deathcore, but I am so blown away by Lorna Shore right now. Musically they're combining the intense blast beats with the orchestral so incredibly well. Typically that just sounds cheesy to me, but somehow they do it perfectly. Those breakdowns? Oh. Yeah. And then there's Will Ramos' singing. Holy crap is he ever talented. The amount of control he has is ridiculous. Especially when watching a live concert, it just seems almost effortless to him.
Sorry for the finger, Chris. I can't stand Kenny G. Apparently Pat Metheny has a similar opinion.Listening to this whole album at work right now
I love that record, it’s wonderful. Though it’s more an experience than a record.View attachment 15738
Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music, Part III. I'm determined to get all the way thru Part III.
Made it. Ugh!
I was listening to Tom Petty earlier while making dinner. His stuff always puts me in a good mood.
