I somehow got another one done today. My kids are both sick and spent much of the day in bed/ blanketed on the couch so this is what it looks like when my brain is free of the "grumpy threenager runaround" all day. I was going to rehouse my other ocelot but I've hacked the poor thing apart to death so for reliability I chose to start fresh. I did steal this 2knobjob off my hydra rehousing. The Hydra doesn't excel at the oscillation game so I'm un modding that. They both used b100k pots so it was easy peasy. I would've wired it more cleanly were it a fresh board.

I skipped the 2 octave down as I never use it. The 2knobjob is on the dry so it's essentially a dry kill. I just removed the second pot. I gave the whole thing a good blast from my spice weasel and bam, the perfect ocelot. For me at least. I think the knobs look a little like tufted ears.

My wife and kids prefer this.


Edit: Don't stress everyone, I just tucked the output wire and soldered the red/green led.

What's the 2 knob job do?

It allows a 3pdt to go between 2 pots with bicolor led indication. I have one on my xc phase as well. Normally there would be an extra pot but I just want all or nothing on the dry signal.

Well, I don't want to send anyone down the wrong path so I deleted my last post about adding a schalltechnik vong mini lpf to the output of this ocelot. I may have been hasty in my excitement. Now that I'm playing it full volume, the ocelot is making the vong fart out at full volume when digging in hard. Just removed it in shame. I'm back to using my 2-in-1 CDB Kliché/ocelot with fat pig boost.
