Very pleased with a new Octagon build, it worked the first time. I am still working on refining assembly and artwork. It's a process, like a baseball game... still in the first inning.
The red artwork was done with a rubber stamp and oil-based paint from a hardware store as an experiment. The art looks bright orange in the photo, but is actually more of a crimson to the eye. I think I will order the proper ink pad next time.
I used an "outie" DC jack to simplify work.
The shimmer reverb is outstanding. Really great value to be able to have multiple effects in one box.
