So I am building this atm and I am using these nanolog devices which cannot have a bias voltage over 1v on them. So I thought I'd ask on here about the toggle switch i will replace the dip with.
This is my first pedalpcb. I've always been a vero guy then became ptp but theres no way I'm making a KoT ptp!
The main question I have is could I ground the hard clipping diode array to ground rather than the voltage bias? Im guessing its an elevated ground so I was thinking it would work but may be noisy or something. Would hate to ruin a component over it though, they arent cheap.
Any help is appreciated. I feel like ive been working on amps and this pedal for so long my mind is going dull... I appreciate any insight!
