Parentheses diodes omitted?

If I'm using the spdt toggle instead of a rotary clipping switch and therefor omitting diodes D8 & D9 as per the build documents, do I have to add a jumper in their places?
As always thank you for dealing with my noobedness.

No you don't need a jumper looking at the schematic, without the rotary nothing would be connected

The toggle switch option either connects to D3, 4, 5 asymmetrical or D6, 7 symmetrical
