So I have a Parentheses that I've been using for about a year now that's having an odd noise issue. Sometimes it'll just be really noisy and scratchy, and then the noise will go away. Turning on other switches (namely the octave) will bring in noise too, but switching the octave or distortion off and on again will remove the noise...sometimes.
Mods I did:
-Ruetz mod (trimmer in place of 47R resistor)
-3mm LED's in clipping section
-C9 is lowered, either 1uF or 2.2uF
-1N4001's for octave diodes
I took some pictures of my build, and recorded a short video to document what's happening.
Anyone got any ideas as to what's going wrong here? Footswitches are from Love My Switches.
