This is definitely a must-build. Huge thanks for the notes and forum posts about germanium diode stripe orientation. Mine did indeed have the stripe on the anode. A surprisingly painless build, all things considered.

Wish list:
- Tip/Sleeve labels for the jack connections
- It would be amazing if the octave could be used independently of the distortion

Tip/Sleeves are now marked (IN/GND, OUT/GND). I agree, that should have already been done.

Soloing the octave effect will take a little more work, but I'll see what I can do. That's not a bad idea.

You’re correct for the clipping diodes, but the orientation does matter for the diodes in the octave circuit.
