Park and ride pot help please

I'm building the Park and Ride, and realized I don't have a C10k pot. I do have some C100k pots. If I run a 10k resistor across lugs 1-3, that should theoretically get me to 10k. Is this a workable solution?

Not that it will work 100% like the original, but A taper and C taper are the inverse of each other, so they do a similar thing in opposite directions. You can wire it backwards (swap the connections at lugs 1 and 3), and it’ll be closer…closer than using a B taper, anyway. It will never be 100% similar, but that doesn’t always matter for some people…
