Pendulun Tremolo - low volume

I have just finished a build, and it works well. But with a caveat, the volume doesn't reach unity even when maxed out. It feels like it halves the volume. I have checked the pots and all the resistors, and I can't find any mismatched values anywhere. How high is the chance that ICs are faulty? (I don't have another set on hand)

Try facing the leds into the ldrs and placing them closer to each other. And make sure you are testing with the ldrs in complete darkness.

It's a blinking rate led, I didn't drill for it.

Ok, cutting the leads flush was a mistake, gonna have to grab new ones tomorrow.
