Phoenix Ultra low volume while Bypassed

Hello fellow builders.
I just finished my second pedal yesterday, the Phoenix Ultra. It sounds pretty great while it's on, no issues there. when bypassed the volume gets almost totally off.
also when bypassed and with the 9-volt cable out the volume gets back to normal. I´ll try re-wiring the footswitch. while I do that do you have any ideas about what else could be wrong?

I am the last guy to help troubleshoot but my guess is that you are right about it being related to the foot switch or maybe even the jacks. However, I would post some pics here so the smart experienced people can help. This is an OD I thought there would be more build reports on given the whole Dumble thing. If you have any other pedals like a Simble or Dude etc, I would be curious to hear how this one compares.

Thanks for the quick reply Preverb, I´ve attached some pics of the pedal. I currently don't have any Simbles or Dudes, but I am now intrigued by those.

As you know bypass simply connects your in jack directly to the out jack via the switch

I'd continuity check the switch in bypass to make sure it's not shorting to anything it shouldn't you should get continuity on the green dots in the pic, red line is your signal path

Power to the circuit shouldn't make a difference unless there's a short, bridge etc I'd reflow all the switch connections in bypass mode especially your jumper and diagonal wire

It sounds like your problem is on the bottom switch row

I’m having the same problem and found this doing a search. Although I built the wonder drive. Sound is very low and muffled when switched off and when I pull the 9v it “clears up” I’ve also noticed on mine the pedal has power even though switched off. This doesn’t seem right. The led switches off like normal. I pulled my switch from a Mosky pedal and was working normal. Does yours also still have power when off?
