Pitch Witch CLR value change?

Would lowering the value of R14 to around 1k-3k have any negative impact on the LED/LDR? Or do they not have any effect on each other since they’re in parallel? The 10k is too much for the green bypass indicator LED I want to use. I have a Yellow 5mm from Tayda connected to R15 and the 10k seems fine for that since it’s quite a bit brighter than the green.

Green LEDs in general tend to require about one more volt to turn on than yellow/red.

You could drop as low as 470 ohms safely...as long as it's a 1/4 watt resistor. 20mA is generally about the upper limit for non-high-brightness LEDS.

Parallel paths: you won't impact the LED/LDR with this setup.

Nah, I would lower it to suit your needs. Green LEDs do tend to be dim with higher clr values.
Thanks for the help as always 😁

good info here. I usually never use below 1k for any LED and everything looks good but may try lower with the green LEDs.
