Polytune Mini 3 PCB

Hi everyone :), it's my first post here. I bought a pedal off of marketplace yesterday and the guy who sold it to me also offered a Polytune Mini 3 pedal for free, said it wasn't working, so i took it to see if i could fix it up.

Once i got home I plugged the pedal in and sure enough, it wasn't working. Plugging in my guitar, sound would pass through to an amp, but no lights turned on the LED screen.

I have some basic knowledge on PCBs as well as testing current with a multimeter, so I opened up the pedal to have a look inside. At first glance, everything looks pristine, no obvious damage to anything. There were two different PCB boards, one with the power supply components, switches and whatnot (green), the other had the LED screen that the pedal uses (black). Both are connected by a 14-pin connector, female side on the green board and male on the black board.

I connected a power cable and started testing for voltage on the green board. Everything seemed to get current through. I pressed the switch with the meter leads inside of the 14-pin connector, and pressing it passed current through, so I'm assuming the switch is not the issue.

Testing for the black board was a bit harder, as i couldn't figure out how to get power into the board without connecting it into the green board, so i let it be.

I'm a little stuck and just looking for general guidance on what i should check next and such. Any help is appreciated :)
