Pot substitution

Hi all!
Just building the Equilux and I forgot to order C10K pot! Just wondering if an A10k would be a crazy substitute with a weird taper? I’m guessing yes but wanted to save myself the wait if I could!

A reverse log pot has the reductions in the opposite direction as log. So the first turn is the greatest amount of reduction instead of the last turn being the greatest amount of reduction (or did I get that reversed?, lol). It would probably be better to substitute a linear.....
