Procrastinator LED dim in bypass etc.

Hello!
This is my first post here, and I searched for previous solutions, but none solved mine.
I’m a relative noob so go easy on me!

The LED dims in bypass, but never turns off.

There’s also a large amount of volume loss when engaged. I assumed I had screwed up the grounding, so I tried a few different things and nothing helped. New switch, swapped the ground and switch inputs (switched ‘em back), reflowed solder, new led… I’m at a loss.

Any obvious dopey moves noticeable here?
I know my soldering needs work, but I’m getting better.

First photo is in bypass. Excuse the haze. Southern humidity is a bear on my camera.

Thanks! I’ve been lurking for months now…

If the LED is from Tayda, I’ve seen that a number of times, went mad trying to troubleshoot it. The led is its own circuit. It goes from the dc input to the car to the led and grounds with the foot switch.
