I've breadboarded up a Univox Squarewave (Pulsewave) to see if I liked it before getting the PCB. I've built it stock using a BC550 and J201 with bias trimmers on each. What I did notice is that the "Distortion" control, which is just a bass cut really, has a huge volume drop from one end of the sweep to the other. I've also tried doing a few mods ala Lucifers Trip and hear the same thing. Is this normal behavior for this circuit?
