Pyrocumulus / Big Muff cap question

I'm going to build a Pyrocumulus / Fallout Cloud / Muffroom Cloud, but don't have 560p MLCC's for the clipping section. What effect would substituting 680p here have?

if you build this with 680pf caps, it's going to be darker.

these small value caps (usually 470pf, sometimes 560pf) attenuate harsh high end frequencies.
the larger the value, the more of the high end spectrum is going to be attenuated.
e.g. a muff with 560pf caps is going to be darker than a muff with 470pf caps.

if it was me, i'd be using 470pf over 680pf caps (if that's an option)

And if it was me, I'd be using 680pF caps over 470pF, possibly even over 560p — 'cause I play bass.


680p was the largest cap EHX ever used for that function, it was in the Ram's Head "White Can" version, IIRC.
