Saturday poll: LED brightness

I've almost always used 4.7K because that's what was listed on the circuits when I started and before I knew what that particular part did.

I still don't understand a great deal about what makes a circuit behave like it does, but I still almost always use a 4.7K still. OCD? Nostalgia? Not really caring about different levels of brightness in my pedals? Who knows?

I usually keep things in the medium range of brightness but occasionally I'll make one very bright and irritating so I don't forget to turn off more subtle effects like my hogsfoot/mole.
