Schematic question

I’m fooling around with my bread board again and I ran into something I haven’t encountered yet. The scene shows 2 inputs. One labeled X1-1, the other X2-2. I’m thinking it may have to do with the 2 effects loops which I am going to run jumpers across anyways. There’s 2 outputs X4-1 and 2 as well. I’m asking how I should proceed on the bread board knowing I’m not using the loops, if that makes sense. Something’s telling me I should be reading it differently or maybe ignoring some parts. I’d appreciate any advise.

If you're not using the loops you just need to jumper those, i.e. jumper X2-1 to X2-2, jumper X3-1 to X3-2, etc.
Exactly. That’s what I plan on doing but as far as setting this up on the bread board do I just split my input in to 2 sides like the schematic shows? Same with the output? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Are you asking about X1-1 & X1-2; X4-1 & X4-2? I get the impression that this schematic is from a unit that has XLR jacks on it. X1-1 & X1-2 (input) can be wired to Tip & Sleeve, respectively, on a 1/4" phone jack. X4-1 is Tip, connect Sleeve to GND on the X4 (output) side.

Thank God I was hoping you’d show up. The pedal is one of the iterations of Amptweaker’s Tight Metal. I’m not sure which one. I’ve been googling but haven’t found anything as of yet about them having XLR jacks. What you say makes sense now looking at the schem. This is the first time I’ve seen this in my young career with pedals. I’ll keep looking and thanks Chuck
