I've been looking into how to create a personal KiCAD library, any recommendations on getting started?

Honestly, just take someone else's..

But if you want your own, define what your standards are. What size resistors, caps, diodes, etc. Then create the basic set. Everything which is uncommon (like relays, or LDRs) will pop up when you need it. Then you do those.

From what I can see, EasyEDA is looking for .json file to import.

These are awesome. I have done a few layouts with them already. Lots of options in these libraries as well. Thanks for sharing.You have saved me a lot of work not having to create my own. Mine was a hodge podge of things
I had made and beans etc…. No real standardizing on my part. Anything I make going forward I will try and incorporate with these as a model.

You should really go ahead and make the jump to KiCad. I did and it is so much better.
