SOFTii Overdrive squeeling

Was working fine when I last used it and now it squeels in stoner mode and is making some wild noises. Any suggestions?

Would post a video but it won't let me

For reference it's a M800 and the SFT in parallel. Was not having this issue previously until I installed the LEDs for each. Don't know why that would make any difference

SORRY THOUGHT I DID! I removed a ground jumping from SFT to JCM thinking it was maybe in a grounding loop but no change.

For context this was all working fine until I wired the LEDs. I did wire the SFT backwards with the LED at forst but that shouldn't cause this issue. Issue just stopped on the stones setting. I am totally in the weeds trying to figure this one out. I do have input buffer and active blender of needed

Assuming nothing else was changed, try moving the wiring around.

The output of the M800 is running under the SOFTii PCB and awfully close to it's own input wire... this could be part of the issue.

I actually just moved the wires to make it easier to see the board. This is how everything usually sits. Could it be a transistor?

Also want to say thanks for doing what you do. You have allowed me a self sustaining hobby that has allowed me to meet some really cool people in the process.

I would think it would not want to work on both settings. It's only the high gain setting that squeels like it's being shorted. Maybe the switch went?
