something similar to the howitzer

I just saw an ad for the elctro harmonix howitzer (15watt Amp/Preamp). Im wondering if anybody out there knows of a similar DIY circuit. I love the idea of just having a pedalboard and a cab.

Not diy but if you end up needing more power but want to stick to boards cab, the quilter amps I've heard are solid.

I dont know why they didnt put a headphone out on that thing. I ended up making a little seperate box for mine with a headphone jack and mixing resistors etc. but seens like a no brainer

Thats hilarious, me too man. All good.

I finally got around to trying it out and it's mediocre. It can be dialed in to sound ok but it's fairly dark and the gain is fizzy. I only tried it thru my vox 2x12 cab with celestion blues
