Son of Ben - Very Hot

Hi everyone!
Looking for some advice on my first pedal build, which I was naively hoping would work first time!
Attempting to make the Son Of Ben, but no matter how I bias the FETs I am getting alotttt of gain (+25dB).
It also sounds like I'm doing some hard clipping even with the drive nearly off, which makes me think the issue is at the first or second FET.
The drains are set to 4V. Adjusting the drains help clean it up a little, but not as much as I would expect with the drive pot set so low.

On the plus side sounds nice when I bring my guitar level down very low, so there is hope!
Also getting a bit of buzz, but I'll worry about that later.

Using MMBFJ201's for the FETs and an actual B2M.
I've double checked restore and capacitor values, but haven't replaced the FETs as I don't have any on hand.
Any advice would be welcome!!

Remove C10 (the 10uF on the right), that should lower the gain a bit.

It's an optional component that isn't present in the current production model.

That worked perfectly! Sounds great now and the buzz is gone.
