I'll give you that, those dual-gang pots are always the problem in a troubleshooting thread.

I suppose if enough folks are against the board mounted jacks I could whack that entire chunk off of the PCB and use pads instead, but with board mounted jacks the entire assembly should lift out of the enclosure easily and be fully functional on the bench... no desoldering required. That'd sure make troubleshooting easier.

Also, the expression pedal is dual-gang... considering the various unknown weird jacks we've seen (and the wiring issues that accompany them) I thought this would make things a bit easier.

@Robert are the ICs just op amps? I know it's too early for a BOM cheatsheet but if there's anything I'm not gonna have on hand it'd be that dip-14

Oooh hell yes. I’ve been so curious about their expression function. It’s only been a few weeks, but the black warp drive is definitely a contender in the heavyweight class.

Waiting on parts to be verified.

I feel a little like a 🤡 but I think I'm going to build one of these just because the pcb looks neat.

Also, a couple years ago I built the defx lodestar which is an od with an expression controlled filter that seemed too subtle to be useful. While I like it ok, I think/hope this acrobat will be more interesting version of that idea.

After watching Andy's video, it seems if you set the bandwidth to thin and the height at either extreme, the filter will be anything but subtle. 😉

I'm confident this thing's gonna rule.
